Public System for recovery and reuse waste (Eco-Lef) |

Eco-Lef is a public system for the recovery and reuse of
used packaging, described by Decree °97-1102. The ANPE is
designed responsible for this system, with focuses on the reuse of
bags and wrapping made of plastic or metal destined for local market.
The aim is to stimulate the recuperating market of packaging wastes
and give their market value “the resumption price”. The system is
started in 1998 and partnerships with industrial firms have been
developed, and the number is growing constantly. The majority of
companies involved the packaging of mineral water, fizzy drinks,
juices or milk products had joined this system Eco-lef.
