Tunisia managed to allocate the 2nd world place in thalassotherapy after France, with 200 thousand tourists per annum and 25 centers.
In Sousse, the hotel Abou Nawas Boujaafar created in Tunisia the first center of Thalassotherapy. This one includes/understands sea water swimming pools and a whole medical team,
as well as equipment specialized for working (underwater bath-tubs
multi-jets and massages, showers with jet and affusion, bubbling basins
of gymnastics, application of mud and underwater algae…)
Thalassotherapy, esthetics and algothérapies, cures anti-stress… there is for all the tastes.
Several other centers were born since.
